Almost all the DS tracks besides a few
The Only ones I like is the mushroom cup tracks, desert hills, and Peach gardens
Reason: In these tracks (Original), there's so many jumps, turns, and crosses. This doesn't fit very well for this game

The only obstacle is the green dots at the end which you can avoid.

They are less of a problem
Yeah but grass is not an obstacle.
Also, earlier today I was in a four player room and everyone except me was picking KB1.
(Except from some times where DS RR was picked)

I know of three possible reasons
1. koopa beach 1 is their favorite track
2. they spam koopa beach 1 for free vr because they practice it a lot

I've been playing quite a lot this week, and almost every time, there is someone just spamming this track. Does anyone know who keeps doing it?
AFK Issue

AFK Players
People who AFK in Spectator mode is fine, it's those who AFK in the middle of the race that are the problem. Ideally, people won't do this anyway if they cared about their VR, but this ruins some people's races as any red shells thrown will just hit the AFK player and they are basically a track obstacle at that point. Especially sucks on the thinner tracks.
To fix this issue, I'd recommend switching people to spectator mode alongside a VR penalty for being AFK in races to discourage this sort of activity. Maybe a small temporary ban from racing like 5 minutes or so if a player has been found AFKing in a race.

Yeah, AFK MKPCians are FRICKIN ANNOYING, but that is not just all that should be fixed. If the afk player goes afk not at the beginning, but rather at the middle or the end when less than 30 secs remains, they will not gain or lose vr, nor will they affect vr of other players either. AFK players are the whole reason point farming from alts exists, so that would be taken out of the game while we try to solve the problem with the AFK players, and also it isn't worth it to ban them just because they have the memory of a goldfish and forget spectator

I do really wish that something like what you have said would be added in an update or something as afk players are just wasting time and it is just annoying. Especially as sometimes players will be afk for multiple races, too.

In the new Mario Kart game there are only 5 cups (There might be six and one of them is still being made but...)
Yeah so if there is no Special cup that means there is no Bowser's Castle and most importantly no Rainbow roads...

I've been playing this game for 2 months now and I'm kinda curious about why the weekdays seem to easily find people, but in contrast, I couldn't get into a single match on the weekends. I'm currently attending college 4 days a week from Mondays to Thrusdays, and I don't get out until 11AM and I usually have an hour or two for errands to do afterwards and several more in studying and working on assignments, so I don't have much time to play online before I have to dedicate several hours into completing my assingments.
But during weekends, I usually have the opposite problem, I have too much free time and whenever I'm in a MKPC mood, I try to go to Online Mode, but never once did I find a room that I can hop in, even as I wait for what feels like over 30+ minutes just to find an available lobby, before giving up and just playing other peoples' courses offline.
I just want to ask if Online Mode is unavailable during weekends, or does it just really take that long to find available rooms during weekends and I'm just not patient enough to wait that long?

Please read all the way to the bottom because this is important to me. This Saturday me and my friend RR98 are gonna play mario kart wii online in a friend room if you want to join please do but you must meet these requirements:
1. It is retro rewind so you need to have that mod at the latest version for it to work
2. We are playing early in the morning around 6am to 8am is when we start so you need to be up early (me and RR98 have uk and Ireland times which are the same so check what time in your country is equal to 6-8am) also we don't know how long we are playing.
3. Post a reply on this topic telling us if you are going to join so we know how many people are gonna be there.
4. Not exactly a requirement but if you don't have my friend code then you need if to join the room cuz I'm hosting. My friend code is on the topic called 'retro rewind friend codes' and 'give me your friend codes' so check on there to find it because you need it to join the room.
This is my first friend room so I want it to be good. Remember it is on RETRO REWIND if you don't have it then I recommend you download it cuz it's good and free.
