And oh, if anyone’s interested in the topic, let me know what you have discovered from the off-road properties.

These happen when you release the accelerator on off road stretches and it depends on the acceleration stat.. While you won’t lose extra speed with 24/24 acceleration, you get an penalty of -3 (at half acceleration) or even an -4 km/h penalty from the original off road speed (with 0/24 accelerator) and this occurs (from what I have seen) on all off-road types except sea and chocolate. Examples:
Normal off road with Mario: 24 km/h to 21 km/h
Normal off road with Daisy: Remains 24 km/h
Icy off road with Bowser: 33 km/h to 29 km/h, if you release the accelerator..
What do you guys think of this? Let me know..

Too late already created a topic like that. https://mkpc.malahieude.net/topic.php?topic=14025:) yours is about off-road.

But it is only about off-road and its properties, even the “Speedometer km/h” doesn’t mention off-road speeds, for example..

I will explain this on you guys:
UMTs could be possible, but you guys are wondering how are they going to be added to the game.
Well, actually adding this to the game, would actually create a big challenge (although it is possible), this is actually hidden into the game too, so, unfortunately, getting it to work, is a challenge for the developers.

Is it possible to activate the cheat code menu with console controllers?

But this means that, due to a lack of the “cheat” string for the regular gamepad controls, there is actually no way to activate the cheat menu with any method, sadly.

As for the “cheat buttons”, I wasn’t sure for the respective buttons, since in the code, there are listed multiple numbers, that are much more confusing. I’m sorry that I couldn’t provide you with his detail. But one thing is clear, the cheat string isn’t present on the normal gamepad controls.

These are the numbers assigned to the “buttons”.

This is the first case, for first person gamepads.
up:[1],
down:[0],
left:[[-1]],
right:[[1]],
item:[6],
item_back:[[0,1],6],
item_fwd:[[0,-1],6],
jump:[7],
balloon:[2],
rear:[3],
pause:[9],
quit:[16]
As you can see, the cheat code string is actually missing for the normal, single player, case. But there is one more thing: if the game doesn’t recognise the controller properly, or alternatively, clone the second person’s controls, according to the codes we are left with these “default” controls:
up:[38],
down:[40],
left:[37],
right:[39],
item:[32],
item_back:[67],
item_fwd:[86],
jump:[17,18],
balloon:[16],
rear:[88],
pause:[80],
quit:[27],
cheat:[120,33,57,105]

If I dug deeper into the game’s files…
There are two gamepad controller strings.

I see that, but there isn’t an cheat code button listed.

I tested this on an Xbox controller, I tried pressing all buttons but I just can’t seem to open the cheat code menu for some reason.

To us, we have concluded that the cheat code menu was an originally PC-only mechanic, meaning that it is only possible, in any way, to activate the cheat code menu only on an PC/with an Bluetooth keyboard attached (by pressing 9 while on the VS and Battle modes). So, this mechanic is now concluded to be impossible on mobile controls. But here is the question and speculation, my friends: Is there any way to activate the cheat code menu on console controllers (specifically PS/Xbox controllers)? ;)

Since I made a misunderstanding that I do not believe to be a moderator, but I am more willing to take part of the MKPC Mag ( to mention interesting features on both other racing games and MKPC, to mention glitches and shortcuts, etc.: )
You can add me to get me a part of it, if you can.

I accept your apology, but, now, remember to read the MKPC rules and know that you will never spam and try to be polite to others no matter what.

Why you have to accept the apology when the apology is mainly to me and not really to anyone else ?
Quand à toi Lolo64, je ne t'en veux plus, tu es pardonné, mais essaie d'éviter ce genre de propos et actions à l'avenir car c'est dérangeant. Merci. ;)

Hey, do you know why I accepted the apology?
Look, while I know that the rude words and disrespecting incident was actually his fault, I also know that his spamming in PM was either a joke (because, normally he is not like this) or it was a side person who got his IP address and spammed his PMs.

Look, even a professional person who does not agree with MK9-related rickrolls, can’t avoid a rickroll, so deal with it!
MK9 may most likely not happen anytime soon, geez…

Yep, I agree with you, MK9 most likely won’t be released anytime soon, due to the new MK8DX DLC taking years to be fully implemented… :s

Me answering some questions you could wonder about

Is there any track you hate due to subjective reasons ?

I used to hate a lot of tracks for subjective reasons yep. As an example, I hated DS Rainbow Road for the music, or some tracks (I couldn't remember) for their title. Weird I know.

Is there a track you used to love but that you can't stand it anymore, and is there a track you used to hate but that you love right now ?

SNES Rainbow Road - Good to very bad
N64 DK's Jungle Parkway - Horrible to okay
GBA Snow Land - Okay to Horrible
GCN Bowser Castle - doesn't stands out to amazing
DS Rainbow Road - horrible to okay
Wii Wario's Gold Mine - horrible to good
3DS Neo Bowser City - Okay to Amazing
WiiU Rainbow Road - Amazing to okay

Which track is your favorite track in each game ?

SNES : Koopa Beach 1
N64 : Rainbow Road
GBA : Rainbow Road
GCN : Rainbow Road
DS : Wario Stadium
Wii : Coconut Mall
3DS : Rainbow Road
WiiU : Mount Wario
Tour : Vancouver Velocity

Give some theming ideas that Nintendo didn't use yet

Laboratory (don't know the english word)

I'll respond more later

I did not talk about this, I am talking about my opinion, the things I most hate with some of these MK games.
