A message to Max-Bros
Yeah I think I'll probably get bashed by Cinnamon again for mentioning the downsides of someone else, but you know what I don't care. And I am writing this out of genuine worry, not anger or anything. So let's get started.
But anyways, let's chronologically start with the beginning.
The beginning : your typical MKPCian
We all start our journey here as a random member. Nobody knows much about us, and we haven't revealed much of ourselves yet. Well Max kind of looked like that. He arrived in a wave of French people arriving (Yascamer, Jey, Tiger21, Gamerlion etc.) He was your typical Muse fan and was very chill, very calm. You could not tell it's the same person as today sometimes.
At that time, he had trouble having opinions on things and tend to look tense whenever Jey and me fought since we both were his friends. He seemed embarrassed and clueless about what to say or do...
Over the summer, him, me, and Nudge argued with Tendo. In September, applications had to be made to choose new staff members. He applied and got chosen.
But that's where an era starts..
Nitpicking and dickeating : the role of the reactions throughout the nitpick era, and how it went
Max got admin. That would be a great thing, since he proved he could be active. It all went well until a problem started. In July, us, the trio of "unofficial moderators" started to develop a nitpick side, notably with Tendo going around. It only got worse. When Max got admin, Nudge started to lose that role a bit, but we weren't done. We started saying useless message everywhere we saw one, hence contributing to the spam overall. It also influenced other people through it, since Max was a moderator. You can see me, Nudge and Max upping each other's messages, and us facepalming, for example, Tendo messages. This kept on going until one man arrived...
Pianta, the birth of a non-ending situation between him and Max
When Pianta arrived, we all saw him as agressive, but looking back then, it was more that his views differentiated with ours, thus creating a conflict. Our mentality is very different from Pianta's one, which created a permanent problem, notably because sometimes Pianta criticized me or something. And knowing how protective Max was, he sadly wasn't going to let that slide. Perpetually, it became worse, until Tox calmed the situation.
Pianta was the wrong person at the wrong place in the wrong moment. Max's hard job started to take a toll on him, creating a burnout in his mind faster than your usual admin - and Pianta came here, being brutally honest, saying things as they are, having completely different  views... and that's when I started to get anxiety in real life, so I acted in a dumb way too, tbh it was just not the right moment for anyone. Plus, as Tox said, the language
barriers weren't helping. Many times Pianta and I got lost in a case where one thinks of the other as agressive while no, the language is just that way.
But that destroyed Max's confidence. And it's not Pianta's fault, although sometimes his rudeness could have been unhelpful, and quite harming in a way. That being because Max got IRL problems.
Nowadays, a problematic situation
Max is autist. That is a struggle of his sometimes, which lead him to have a weird scolarity, and speaking about it, it's not going well recently - so I don't know. He also got an unstable mental health due to many problems, notably his job. He is afraid of the backlash he could get, because he got a lot in the past, and he is a quite recent member.
The problem with now is that he has many scars and wounds mentally, which creates a vicious circle, because he tends to take offense in a lot of things, notably things that aren't even about him, but about me. He had a bad lounge this afternoon, and was visibly pissed off by that. We were praising Drizzer but out of nowhere he said "okay but normally I completely win him out (in an arrogant from, language barriers ugh) so if I don't win against him there is a problem". This annoyed me and Fways, so we argued for a long time, and Drizzer told him "well, play to have fun and for yourself" and at that moment Max yelled that it wasn't funny and all of that stuff. Another example is when we told him, me and Fways, that it was invasive and that we didn't need to know who rated what, and he took thar as being "destroyed while trying to help". He also has this victim behavior, and I am not saying that to make fun of him, because I have it as well. This feeling of being the victim of people around. Trying to guilt trap. Feeling while people are assholes at you while you're only trying to help. He probably does all of that unconsciously, since he already told us he both feels like shit and that he feels mad at what is happening to him at the same time, which creates this weird and tense Max.
Conclusion
Max, I know you take your job seriously and stuff, but you need a break out of here urgently. You show many signs of burn-out. I see you in many arguments and situations that are generally truly meaningless. The website won't die anyways. We also need new moderators, because the two active ones both have a solid problem, Max lacking confidence in his decisions and burning out, while Tox is screwed over with the timezones, asleep when everyone is awake and awake when everyone is asleep.
Nudge and me
On the subject of new moderation, I have found something interesting. Summer is coming, which means that I am gonna come back on Discord and reach the required age to be a staff member. My evolution will likely be faster, and will maybe help me reach themzturity level we need for this job. Nudge has less feelings, which is perfect to objectively judge a situation. His mathematical intelligence would help him taking the smartest choices. If I was an admin I would probably follow my feelings and use emotional intelligence since I have got a lot. We could complete each other with both qualities than an admin needs.
Plus we have tried to leave this many times, but not succeeding at it at all, and we have been active since we were even here. I also got experience, since I was here since June 2020 (yesterday was my "bday" and I think it could be interesting to consider it once we have both matured enough.

My overall thoughts about the forum lately : arguments, the good, the bad and the clueless
The forum isn't in the best state ever lately. I feel like there is a lot of arguments and even if it's okay right now, I'll address it anyways.
- orchid : his trolling definitively trigger some people. Personnally I got over it with time. Saying the n word in DMs is breaking the rules, but I do not think a permaban will be the solution since that probably means complaints from Pianta, Fways, Mudky and Kirio. He deserves a warn. Why am I not harsh ? Because it's orchid. We all know he is part of the people who won't give a fuck if we send disagreement about his actions and that he will be defended by the quatuor I named earlier. So let's sanction him a bit so he understands, and Jey will stop crying, but let's not permaban, and apparently he apologized.
- Jey is back in a complaining state of mind. He's got the right spirit, trying to stop a troll from trolling and all of that stuff, but there is no point in that. He is complaining too much and not minding his own business about the current situation. He's got the right spirit but he should adapt to the situation, and we all know orchid is gonna stay that way. Plus he's accusing without proofs and butting onto other people's businesses.
- Max is part of the problem here. Although he doesn't harm anyone in any way, the lack of confidence he has in his decisions is a problem since he doesn't take any action when small action is needed because he's scared if the criticism he will receive. He's a mod after all, even if he receives backlash, he can still take action in that case and if it's not that unfair people shouldn't be complaining. Max has got too much backlash overall but he still needs to work on his confidence about this because it's purely and simply part of his job. Knowing how and when to take action.
- Nudge is strangely evolving in a very good way. I thought he would be either agressive towards the trolls or trolling towards Max and stuff, but he's actually looking at everything in a smart way and trying to help, so his way to act is welcomed in this kind of situation to be honest.
- SCG (the bee guy) is posting a lot of irrelevant content and overreacts a lot to anything, which is simply very annoying and childish behavior.
- Cinnamon is a greag member. So sure, before coming back, his last action was one of the stupidest things ever done and you can't pretend he's a perfect guy without thinking about his past. Although his recent interventions are rather mature overall, so its a positive evolution.
- Coopa and Cringeh just chilled down on their activity and it's a breath of fresh air.
Overall the forum is just in a very arguing state, which is frankly not a good thing. March was low F tier, April was high C/very low B tier, May was low C/mid C tier and this month is low D/mid D tier. It is not fatal but things need to be done, notably around the moderation team.
