Le manuel de Super Mario Bros. 2 dit que Birdo est un mâle, mais se sent Femelle, et veut qu’on l’appelle « Birdetta », d’où vient « Birdo ».
Dans Captain Rainbow sur Wii, toute l’histoire de Birdo a été retracée (vous savez peut-être pourquoi c’est Captain RAINBOW)
