Pour commencer, Super Mario Kart :
- Il est le 4ème jeu le plus vendu de la SNES, avec 8,76 millions d'exemplaires, derrière Donkey Kong Country (9,30 millions).
- Dans la version japonaise, Peach et Bowser boivent du champagne après avoir gagné une coupe. Cela a été changé dans les versions internationales afin d'adapter le jeux aux enfants.
- Si vous appuyez sur A et Y sur l'écran de sélection du pilote, vous le contrôlerez comme s'il était affecté par un champi poison ou un éclair, augmentant ainsi la difficulté.
- Sur l'écran de sélection de la coupe en Contre-la-montre, si vous faites la manipulation suivante : L, R, L, R, L, L, R, R et A, vous débloquerez la coupe spéciale. Dans les versions japonaises, vous entendrez un son de Boo à la place.
- Mario et Luigi sont les seuls persos à avoir le même objet lorsqu'ils sont contrôlés par l'ordi (l'étoile).
- Les développeurs avaient eu l'idée de développer ce jeu car ils voulaient en créer un multijoueur après F-Zero. Cependant, le prototype n'avait qu'un perso jouable, qui était dans une combi de pilote de F1, et aucune course : c'était juste 2 persos se déplaçant librement. Les développeur avaient eu alors l'idée d'ajouter Mario conduisant un kart pour voir comment le jeu serait, et avaient décidé qu'il serait meilleur.

+ Nintendo stated that apparently Waluigi was too scary. I have no idea how that works out since in Waluigi Pinball there’s a huge Waluigi. Quite dumb Nintendo, but Nintendo is Nintendo.

As I explained earlier, if you delete Waluigi Pinball from existence and all the memes related to him, he's not much.
Wario is that character who is kinda a villain but not as villain as the real antagonist. So his role is already kind of inconsistent. He is also kind of ridiculous, so his character isn't very solid.
Now Waluigi is just a plain clone of Wario who follows Wario. He's maybe smarter, but I don't know, since that may be an headcannon. While Luigi is the shy, scared but precious brother of Mario, Waluigi acts like Wario and hardly goes against him. Let's just say it, he's overhyped. There's so many memes around Waluigi that he, as a character became a meme. So it's not a big deal. Also, Honey Queen is a reference to SMG/SMG2, just like Petey was a reference to SMS and King Boo to both Luigi's Mansion 2001 and SMS. About Wiggler, it's fun to play new characters, especially with gimmicks (this one's getting mad when it's touched)

And he also has no series. Mario has, well you guesseed it, the Super Mario games. Luigi has Luigi’s Mansion, Wario has Wario Ware + Wario Land. Waluigi, wah i don’t have my own franchise. Waluigi does not need to represent the spinoffs in Smash, and no characters should represent those awful spinoffs. (I wasn’t calling Mario Party and Mario Kart awful)

It's normal for the series, & just like DS, they had less roster space to work with. They did realy well with it all things considered: kept the essential 9, the other major characters, & a bunch of new faces & some new permanent essentials like Lakitu & Shy Guy. Please do not paint the situation like it's a Waluigi problem only.

This year I started the Nexus Racing project, and the truth is that it was well received
but now I have to announce the Mario Kart Nexus Racing DLC
this DLC will have 2 parts:
The Plus Cups and and those that would be like the original Mario Kart 8 DLC
Plus Cups will have 2 new cups (January 2023)
and the cups of the second part of the DLC will have 4 cups that will come in waves
and well, more information will come out after I finish with wave 3 of MK8DX
