Suddenly, a portal was above them, the portal sucked them up from the ground.

Luigi fades away at the end of the portal.
Mario, thinking: Oh well, guess another adventure is about to start...
Mario looks forward. He sees extremely bright light.

I know "'flying computer face'" isn't a good name for a character, but it's just Reclusa's (the main bad guy) nickname for Mario and Luigi (in his non-logic sessions).
