Daisy is THE best character in the game (if you want you can use a custom Toadette with Daisy's stats), and there's a technique called Reverse Drifting which allows you to chain mini-turbos fast enough to be... well fast xd

okay so here's something to explain the checkpoint system
There's 2 types of checkpoints
- Mandatory ones, which are black in the track editor
- Optional ones, which are blue and help for tracking everyone's positions (and now can help for holes's respawns since some time)
Like here's a screenshot of Riverside Park's checkpoints
sorry for the shit quality it was taken on my phone, and yep I did misread Lakeside
And yep on Lakeside Park you can't really cut that much because of checkpoints xd, and the Lakitu thing is only on main tracks, when he shows up while you're in the right direction it means that you missed a checkpoint, ngl they are quite bad on those tracks, that's why we usually play in the CT Project Lounge (we have a discord server for that) tho we use more specific and different rules (we do Mogis, which are 12 races games either in teams or not)

What is the difference between the n64 and the gamecube?

I don't understand why mario 64 is on the gamecube and not the n64 it literally has 64 in both names. The only way I tell the difference is that mario kart 64 is on the n64 (at least they got that right) whereas double dash is on the gamecube. Someone please clarify.
Okay please tell me who told you SM64 was on the GameCube (Sunshine was the 3d Mario game of that console)
