I think the game has done what it needed to do. It started off weakly then slowly improved along with the years and had peak quality during the BCP, due to more attention drawn to it and to more care put into the models and the originality. It's been 4 years already (almost) if I'm not mistaken, and it's more than enough for this kind of game.

Okay so what happened on the SYK multicup is exactly why we need new mods and why we need to grow as a community.
The situation itself is quite simple, Kirby64 getting mad over someone saying shut up. We've already seen this kind of thing before. We should know as a grown community that this is a kind of children that only deserve to be ignored before eventually getting tired.
But people decided to provoke him. While the sarcasm on there is completely fine, I think that the way people reacted to it was stupid. First off, because the comment that Princess made can be seen as very rude from a younger person, but also because if you respond to the kid and provoke him, that will just make him madder and create more arguments.

Some people on here are just too immature regarding some matters, or even too sensitive towards those matters, and the best thing to do is to ignore them, and to go along with your day, so that no argument will occur. However, if you answer the "offended" person, you're just likely to make them mad bc that's just how this kind of person works. And I thought that we realized that but apparently we didn't.

I think there is no need to rush so far. Since all of those topics were created, the community calmed down a lot, however I agree that this is the right moment to gather information, communicate and publish official statements, because so far other administrators haven't been responding that much (aside from Max and BJ03)

I hope Treeway doesn't show up this wave. That would suck.
Why would it suck ?
1. We'd be halfway through the pass with no GCN track
2. I was excited for this wave, it would be the first "screw fanservice" wave we've gotten. The only fanservice track would be 3DS Rainbow Road. No N64 for the childhood nostalgia group, no Wii track to pander to the Wii crowd. A chance to put the spotlight on the other games pre-release.
I couldn't agree more with you, I hate the fanservice tracks, there are way too many forgotten tracks that deserve to see the spolight, or a remake.
