Maybe this topic should have an event but it’s only active people on this topic to avoid the problem your topic had.
Actually, its because it was a game. There is always a point where people get bored of it. And the concept of MK Hype was smart, since you can talk about every thing about MK, so its always active
But someday, sadly or no, this topic will fall.
And Tendo was really encouraging spam (he was doing it himself, he asked people to talk more or to keep it alive, and even thought different titles would help it ; I assume that MK Hype is a more attractive title than Only Mario Kart Talk, but Nintendo Hype ? Plus that would change the concept...

Hell yeah, let's talk a bit about 8DX Sky-high Sundae.
The concept was a sweet themed track, but the execution of the theme is better than in Sweet Sweet Canyon, since it's way more colorful and the sweet concept is well done, with all the ice creams. SSC felt like a canyon with some cake and chocolate spread on it to make it look like a candy themed track. SHS feel like an ice cream world.
The design is okay, the gameplay is satisfying, the music is really good yet out of concept. That doesn't sounds anything sweet yet it looks like an airport music. I swear, it's fitting more Super Bell Subway than SHS
