Some tears were of course rolling down Lely's face. He barely had the strength to think of anything. Closed eyes, sad face. What a mess. The 12-year old teenager came here to have fun with people he knew, but also because he wanted to feel better in his own skin. After being on an island and doing things on it but also healing people, he thought, he would be good enough to everyone. But he messed up.

Is the game getting old or is it just me?
Ah... This is a tough question...
MKPC is of course old, it's 12 years old (10 years for the forum), but with updates and generations, it's still very recent and modern to me.
It really glowed up many times with incredible updates.
The ambiance changed many times as well. There was dramas, there was good times.
But 2022 is a peculiar case. There's not much dramas however the ambiance is not good. Just go to my topic about 2022's MKPC.
There is only some members getting mad at each other but that happens. However, Jey and me are really on the verge of the drama everytime and it can burst at any moment. It's ready to explode. And it just makes the site worse, sadly there's not much to do.
The site isn't all black and grey.
But it's definitively not the beautiful rainbow of the two previous years.
The game, to be honest, is not getting old. It had many incredible updates recently. However the community sounds like the bot channel on Discord servers. Here's a typical day :
"Hello"
"Hi how are you"
"I'm fine"
"So today here's a new gameshow"
"Wow, it's been 68 gameshows and you still continue but okay. I'm writing a new fanfic"
"It's nice"
"I'll left for summer"
"I'll miss you"
"So here's a topic where you can talk about everything related to pancakes, waffles because I felt like it"
"I hate the beans"
"It's disgusting"
"This topic is useless, I ask this to be lock"

Why I'm Not a Mario Strikers Person

Did anybody ask? No. Did I want to give my thoughts anyway? Why else would I be making this? I kinda like the idea of Mario being darker and edgier, but I kinda feel like this series is TOO dark and edgy. I'm gonna list the problems I have with it.
The Stages:
All the fields just look like generic places that could be put into any video game franchise without question. Just remove the audience and the two Mario references per game and this may as well be Extreme FIFA. Battle League fixes this, but it took Next Level three whole tries to make Strikers feel like a Mario series.
The Music:
I'm not a rock fan. It makes sense in Sonic and F-Zero, but who the heck wants to listen to a heavy metal remix of the NSMB overworld theme that sounds nothing like it? There were different genres in Charged, but in the other games, there's no variety.
Calm Down, Yoshi:
There'd be a small chance I'd change my mind about how over-the-top Strikers is, IF EVERYONE DIDN'T LOOK SO FRICKIN' PISSED. I get it, you guys are kinda competitive, but it's a damn game of soccer, not The Hunger Games. You're not gonna die. You may get a shock, but it'll only last a few seconds.
So yeah, those are my thoughts on Strikers. I understand that everyone has their own opinion, but after the Daisy DLC (those two words do not belong in the same Strikers-related sentence,) I decided to give a little rant about it. If you like Strikers, that's okay. It's just not for me, even though I have a Wii.

-Mario Strikers was the way to allow the Mario franchise to go out of bounds from time to time. When the first game came out on Gamecube, or more importantly, the Wii version came, you can't even imagine the hype it would trigger in people, and that was around 15 years ago!
-The game have a metal tone, but where Strikers actually topped the concept of out of bounds, is in the Wii version. You have a lot of styles of music (from jazz to country) to represent each character, that was given totally different behaviours and personnalities (who expected Flora Pirahna to be an hippie? Diddy Kong to be a budhist god?). There was a lot of violence as well, but it was really funny in many aspects, with running jokes during games. And that personality really gave an identity to the strikers series. I recommend you to play with the Wii game if you want a top experience for the series.
-the recent game confirmed you don't play soccer (football in most countries, I may add), but a different sport called strikers, which is inspired by soccer! So yeah, strikers is close, but not the same, like a cousin.

Mario Kart PC is at this stage better than all the Mario Karts, we have a circuit editor, it's playable without downloading, it's free, there's a whole forum which is very active, there's some online, you can customize LOTS of options, you can create your own characters, your own sets, the hours of play are almost endless with all the circuits that are created every day...
And why would we need this ? Be sastisfied of new updates and stop asking for more and more content. There is things that a lot of members in the community are asking and those ideas would at least be good, however that is NOT to me. Most of the asked updates are things that would change nothing ; and even if they change something, not for everyone : as an example the screen size is a comfort to standard players, but I'm not ure the pros care about it... You get my point ?
The only updates we would be almost everyone happy to have : background editor and things like this. Some updates ideas you guys asked for changes nothing to me, really, like the leaderboard on the screen as in MK7, or things like that...

It would be serving everything on a silver platter.
I can assume making sprites (especially for characters) is hard, but that's the point. You need patience and skill to make them. You have to learn how to make your sprites great, then you will evolve. If you give up when you meet something hard, then your life will be rough, sorry to say it. That's one of the several things Fways learnt to me.

Most of the asked updates are things that would change nothing ; and even if they change something, not for everyone : as an example the screen size is a comfort to standard players, but I'm not ure the pros care about it... You get my point ?
The only updates we would be almost everyone happy to have : background editor and things like this. Some updates ideas you guys asked for changes nothing to me, really, like the leaderboard on the screen as in MK7, or things like that...
