I agree, I often check out tracks, I sometimes try to work on my tt records and the grand prix in the base game, and whenever theres a decent online lobby I join in

yes, but no. He shouldve been replaced by one of the other weird characters. Wiggler is awesome, honey queen is a stupid choice but an okay character overall, but metal mario is the worst ever, almost as bad as pink gold peach, and WHY NINTENDO DID YOU REPLACE WALUIGI, A GREAT CHARACTER WITH THE SECOND WORST CHARACTER EVER?!!!!!!!!!!

for me I actually dislike yoshi desert because the layout looks really weird and not yoshi-desert-like because it was elongated-to-hell

no I mean all the time except for time trials because the tt difficulty is slightly toned down with the removal of bomb cars for that mode.

they also made the bridge sections worse

firstly, it is extremely difficult to complete a run without getting hit by something at least once.

secondly, the cars have large hitboxes, oc not as lagre as n64 version of toad's turpike, and can be hard to avoid.

thirdly, the cars are fast. they get even faster in the city section, making them even harder to avoid than they already are outside of the city section!

finally, that annoying blind turn just before the bridge. go inside, get squashed by a car. go outside, you prob will also get squashed. thank goodness there is a little ramp-like thing on the outside of the road you can drive on to avoid the cars!

but the best one is def boo lake. this is because of the elevation and slight layout change, but the layout is a good change because this change just makes life easier

THIS ONLY GOES FOR RETROS (not including r, t or r/t variants or kalimari desert 22)

my 5 worst in no particular order are:

moonview highway (why did they have to remove the unique car and city visuals, plus they made the track to easy)

waluigi stadium (why didn't nintendo keep the amazing additions from 8DX's DLC, not even adding a glider! Now it is almost exactly the same as the wii remake, and its still decent, but why did they make it worse?)

sky garden/bowser's castle 3-gba (WHY DID NINTENDO SIMPLIFY MOST OF THE GBA TOUR REMAKES?!!!!!!! For sky garden and most other gba tracks in tour, not counting the first 3 of the gba bowser castles, the layout was simplified up to the point where the course gets worse purely because of the changes to the layouts of the victim tracks. BC3-GBA keeps the layout, but that is literally the only thing that speaks BC3-GBA in the tour version. the bridge sections were modified and made a lot worse, the unique skybox was removed, and worst of all, NOW THE WALLS ARENT BLUE!!!!
The mario kart tour team is so bad with remaking most gba tracks. (I mean most of them with these sorts of changes.)

Sunset Wilds. (The layout change affected sunset wilds the most out of all the tracks that got the layout change. PLUS it did not need the weird jumps, plus they are there for one stupid reason: as an excuse for nintendo to "change elevation" like most other gba tracks. PLUS the sunset progression is so much less satisfying due to most tracks in tour having 2 laps or sections. But keep in mind that sometimes the section change can turn a track from great to horrible...)

and the worst tour remake in my opinion is.... (unneedingly big drumroll.......)

Wii Rainbow Road (MOST UNNEEDED SECTION CHANGE EVER! This track went from being one of the BESTtracks in MKWII to the WORST track in tour because of one reason: the change from laps to sections. This track is about 1 minute per lap on average in wii, and now the track was not only changed from 3 laps to 2 sections, but the length of the track was also slightly SHORTENED!!!! What the hell is fucking wrong with you nintendo youd better change it back when it comes to 8 deluxe OR ELSE!!!)

Edit: I would love for koopa cape to be replaced with moonview highway, but that is pretty unlikely since koopa cape is guaranteed to be in the bcp
because of the banned datamine. But I would love it to happen
