My opinion, but I main Kirby(don't mess with my pink marshmallow, he is not F tier) and Luigi, so I would say them. But from a competitive standpoint, Min Min, Ganondorf, and DK.

COVID 19 has been a real struggle in our world, nobody can deny it. But has it infected the world of MKPC? According to conspiracy theorists, 5G gives Coronavirus, but we know that they are not the smartest people in society…

But should we still take precautions even if MKPC is just 1’s and 0’s? The answer is Yes because it helps us get used to these precautions in real life and develops good behaviour. In this topic, I will tell you some of the safety precautions that we need to follow to stay COVID Safe.


Character Selection:

In MKPC, nobody is really COVID Safe, are they? Only one person uses a face mask for the sake of Corona and another literally wears a mask his/her whole life. By using Mudky’s recreation of Daisy with a Mask, you can reduce the spread of the non existent Coronavirus in MKPC. She can be found in the custom character section.

Koopa Troopa also has a mask, but he donated its use for Waluigi68’s course.

STAY AWAY FROM TOAD AT ALL COSTS!!! HE HAS TESTED POSITIVE!!! (at least in that Covid course he was infected)


VS Race Rules:

Mario Kart is a racing game, (duh) but how safe is it to race? While racing it is mandatory to stay at least 1.5m away from any other racer, and a limit of 12 racers maximum. (it also reduces lag so it’s a win-win) On narrow tracks such as DS Rainbow Road, overtaking is prohibited as you need to come close to another racer. Tailgating is also prohibited.

It is a good idea to participate in  W I D E  courses such as ‘Veethan’s  W I D E  Rainbow’ and other tracks from that series. If you would like to share your  W I D E  tracks then do so in this topic. It is basically free advertising.


Battle Rules:

Battle mode is where you eliminate people, therefore eliminating the non-existent Coronavirus in MKPC. There is only 1 violation in this mode, which is using Mushrooms to steal balloons. Whenever you receive a mushroom, use it to avoid all other players.


Time Trial Mode Rules:

Time Trial Mode is basically self isolation apart from Lakitu who starts your time. Just stay away from any living thing considered as ‘deco’.


Now that you know some of the rules of staying COVID Safe in MKPC, it is important to respect them when playing. Stay safe and enjoy playing a socially distanced MKPC.
