Nintendo just Killed the Popular 3DS and the Underrated Wii U, I thought Nintendo would be Nice and Keep those Online Services. But Nintendo is Being Stupid and Getting rid of the 3DS and Wii U. The 3DS is still being Bought. and It is the Son of the Most Popular Nintendo Console, the DS. But Nintendo only wants the NiNtEnDo SwItCh. The Worst Console.
Doesn't matter. All consoles have limited lifetimes. Just move on. Nintendo were probably planning on doing it for a few years now. Switch has gained many more sales and therefore, from a business stand-point, matters more and should get more stuff.
The DS Sold more than the NS. They should Discontinue the Stupid Nintendo Switch. It is Terrible.

Retro Games Are So Much Better (3DS and Wii U Included Since They are Dead, Which a Console has to Be Discontinued to be Retro.), Modern Games are Made to Be Hard, Older Games Focus on Being Fun, and They Are Quality. An Example is the 3DS because it has Quality Titles. They are Also More Reliable, an EG is the Nintendo GameCube. Mine has Lasted Soooooo Long. Despite the Battery being Dead, and the Original Controller's Toggle Cap Ripped, It Still Works Perfectly.
My Nintendo Switch is very Buzzy, The Original Joy-Cons Broke Not even a Year Later. And I was Taking Care of them. Older Consoles have a Better Game Library, They Support Backwards Compatibility, They Have Manuals, They have Cool Box Covers, and They Have Amazing Music.
And Consoles that Use Memory Cards, are Even More Reliable because if Your Console Dies or Breaks, You can Just take out the Memory Cards and Put them in a New PS1, PS2, GCN, ETC. And Your Data Will still be there. Older Consoles don't Require Internet to Play, Which is Better for Traveling. They also Don't Take Forever Like Moder Consoles to Set Up. An EG is the NES, It Takes Like 4 Minutes at the Most to Set it Up. A Nintendo Switch Takes Like 40 Minutes at The Most to Set Up.
Older Games Let You Spend In-Game Money to Buy things, Modern Games Want You to Spend Real Money.

Every track save Sunset Wilds was greatly upgraded from the original and the characters were great. Wave 5 is for sure the best wave yet

I'm Doing Great.
I'm Almost Done with Super Mario Kart Remastered. After 1 or 2 Weeks of Designing, It's Almost Done, I just have to Finish MC4, Make DP3, Make GV3, Design BC3, KB2, VL2, Battle Course 2, Battle Course 3, and Battle Course 4.

Honestly, I'm More Glad than Sad Mario Kart TOUR is Ending. 99% of the Time I can Never Go up in Tier and get the Exclusive Stuff that Only Appears Once, The Game is Unfair, The Combo thing, the Ranking thing, and Everything is Wrong with it. I hate How they Want You to Spend Real Money to Buy Rubies Instead of Coins. The Characters, Karts, and Gliders are Too Expensive. The Combos Die too Quickly, I Kind of Want to Say Good Riddance to Mario Kart TOUR Ending.

Most of MK8's courses wouldn't work because of antigravity, which I assume they couldn't get to work on mobile. They would be severely downgraded and some courses like Mario Circuit and Dragon Driftway just wouldn't work at all.
Also, I see no reason why Nintendo needs to continue Tour, because there's one thing you forgot to consider. Nintendo doesn't want to continue making tours for another few years. It already takes up a lot of their time (I would assume) and once Wave 6 comes out all of Tour's nitros will be permanently playable in MK8DX. A lot of the community dislikes or hates MKT and it's not exactly a "big money maker" like you said (I mean it's literally free to play lol and if anyone is getting the in-game purchases what the hell are they doing)
Also, I see no reason why Nintendo needs to continue Tour, because there's one thing you forgot to consider. Nintendo doesn't want to continue making tours for another few years. Though the Only Thing is, Wii U Courses Like MK Stadium, Toad Harbor, Excitebike Arena, Hyrule Circuit, and Animal Crossing Could Work in TOUR. But Like You and I said, Mario Kart TOUR Consumes Most of Nintendo's Time.
Excitebike and Hyrule Circuit, yes. Toad Harbour has antigrav on the walls but that could be removed. Mario Kart Stadium, though, wouldn't work without major changes and they would need 16 variants of Animal Crossing, even if the track layout is fine.
Why Would Animal Crossing Need 16 Variants? It only Has Spring, Summer, Fall, And Winter.
