Those of us who have been around the Mario Kart community recently have been crying for a certain track to be added to MK9/X/Crossroads, whatever you wanna call it, and this track is Toads Factory.

Now, in my predictions for MK Switch 2, I put Toads Factory as the 1st course of the Banana Cup, but here’s the thing, I don’t think it’s going to come to MK Switch 2. Here’s why.

Nintendo fed the Wii stans a bunch in the BCP, and I would guess that they don’t want to do this again considering it did get some outcry once Wave 6 rolled around(cough Daisy Circuit cough) I don’t think they would do this again, however.

With the small amount of remaining Double Dash and DS tracks, they would probably want to favor those games along with SMK, MKSC, and MK7. Now, I’m not saying that it’s unreasonable that they aren’t gonna add it, but it doesn’t feel like a lock to me. This is because with the lack of desert tracks between these games, I think they are going to bring back Wii Mario Circuit and Wii Dry Dry Ruins.

When I did my predictions I originally selected 3DS Mario Circuit for my more advanced circuit, but I could see them slotting it with Wii Mario Circuit and using Wii Dry Dry Ruins as a Lightning Cup opener. They could also take Wii BC along with Wii Mario Circuit, but keep in mind, GCN and DS BC’s are in waiting to, and DS BC is DEFINITELY a lock at this point for me.

Another route we could potentially see is GBA Yoshi Desert pulled along with Wii Mario Circuit and Toads Factory, but again, this seems unlikely.

So yeah, I really don’t think it’s gonna come back guys, they probably are gonna bring back Mario Circuit and Dry Dry Ruins for our Wii tracks and save 3DS Mario Circuit for probably the DLC. Don’t worry, Toads Factory could return after some time, but I really don’t think it’s gonna happen here.

Berlin Byways is a banger, probably the 2nd best Tour song after Vancouver Velocity. I still think Toads Factory is better than Coconut Mall for Wii. Toad Circuit is a banger. I never really enjoyed Mount Wario’s melody, Electrodrome is the best song from the MK8 base nitros IMO. I agree with a lot of the other ones though.

In terms of generally I would say 8DX. I was just talking nitros, should’ve clarified that. Wii still has the best music if we are talking nitros, DS comes close, F8C/MC, Desert Hills, Bowser Castle, and of course Waluigi Pinball are bangers.

I think Wii. Toads Factory, Coconut Mall, and Mushroom Gorge are certified bangers. DK Summit, Moonview Highway, Dry Dry Ruins, Rainbow Road, and Bowsers Castle all fit their tracks really well. The rest are almost perfect as well, the only song in the game that’s so-so to me is Moo Moo Meadows.

I put way too much in SS tier but Coconut Mall is still the goat IMO.

Shell Cup: DS Figure 8 Circuit(I’m sorry but we don’t have a lot of DS options left..) Wii U Sweet Sweet Canyon(Good track), SNES Bowser Castle 1(It’s not the most exciting track but we probably need a 2D BC and this is the simplest one left), 3DS Shy Guy Bazaar(robbed from MK

Banana Cup: Wii Toads Factory(The most wanted retro track in MK9 by far, and I agree with the community on that opinion), Tour Piranha Plant Pipeline(Fun and very unique, wouldn’t be surprised to see it return with the other Tour nitros returning in the BCP) GBA Broken Pier(It’s not very good but we need a spooky track), SNES Vanilla Lake 1(Again, not very good but we need a snow track)

Leaf Cup: Wii U Dolphin Shoals(Best water track in the series, change my mind), 3DS Mario Circuit(Doesn’t exactly fit in the Leaf Cup but we need a more advanced circuit), Wii Dry Dry Ruins(It’s a pretty good course and we need a desert track and a 2nd track from MKWii), DS Bowser Castle(It’s fine, the music slaps hard though and we need a more advanced BC and a 2nd DS track)

Lightning Cup: N64 Wario Stadium(Quite possibly my least favorite track in the series but we need it here for varieties sake), GCN Mushroom City(Finally! We get to our only GCN course. And again, it’s probably the most requested retro along with Toads Factory), 3DS Maka Wuhu(We need to follow trends guys), GBA Rainbow Road(Again, I’m following trends here.)
