Another 4 more ideas: The Bubble Flower!(from smbwonderNew Super Mario World 1: The Twelve Magic Orbs)
It traps you in a bubble which floats up in the air, so you cannot see where you are going. You can fly over the entire map with no collision though, so If you know where you're going, This is a great skip.
Metal Mushroom!(from mp6 and mp7)
Makes the user heavy metal, disabling them from jumping. However, it allows them to walk on water freely!
Wing Cap!(from SM64)
The Wing Cap makes small wings appear on the User's head, and makes them teleport to a random spot, like a lakitu does when you go off the track/off road. Hope you don't get dropped in water or a wall! However, You may be lucky if you Get dropped off in front of the 1st player.
Speedy Ranch! (an original item)
It is like the star, but faster! Upon using it, the Player Immediately Gains an infinite boost of speed for 20 seconds! however, The steering gets changed to random, So be on the lookout for that!

Bubble Flower: Only problem is that you still have to pass checkpoints... great for corner cuts, though
Metal Mushroom: Only useful for one type of off-road, so if you aren't playing Koopa Beach, it's useless.
Wing Cap: Fantastic concept! Only problem is how MKPC could find a way to determine where custom characters' heads are...

Triple Item: Whatever the next item you get is, there'll be three of them! For example, get the triple item and than a bob-omb, and now you'll have the beautiful sight of having three bob-ombs orbiting you kart! (Can't wait until someone gets it with blue shells...)

Black Shell: Homes on everyone in front of you, systematically hitting all of them, and exploding when it hits first. To make it worse, after you get hit, your screen is covered in ink like a blooper. If you throw it in first place, then it will keep hitting people until you drop out of first. There is no way to destroy this item, except for when it hits first and explodes.
There's only one downside for the person who throws it: For each player it hits, you lose five VR if you don't finish in first place. Luckily, if you do finish in first, then you get five VR for each person you hit.

Psyched to actually have a use for these sprites that have been collecting dust!
Equipment: StarBlade (melee weapon, 180 dmg lightning), Bow (projectile, arrows deal 3 damage lol), Cap (armor [headgear], water resist), TechSuit (armor, [body] 5 def.)
Magic: Stella's a Lightning ally, so she takes no damage from those sorts of attacks. She can cast Lightning (Lightning damage to one foe), Gigavolt (Lightning damage to all foes), and use Electric Fence to create an electrical barrier around herself.
Being a Lightning ally, she's weak to water-based attacks, which is why she has water-resistant armor.
Will finish FS tomorrow.
