Here's three interesting facts that were probably already posted:
- Mario Kart 7's Star Cup is the only cup in the entire series where every course's name differs between the NTSC and PAL versions.
- Peach Circuit is the only GBA track in Mario Kart Tour to both have elevation changes and be completely faithful to the original layout.
- Speaking of Mario Kart Tour, in the game's first year, N64 Banshee Boardwalk or N64 Bowser's Castle were considered to appear. The gap that could fit either of those two courses suddenly closed, and the two courses have yet to appear.

characters require a certain number of gold cups to be unlocked, and some are unlocked through custom cups
Thanks! I was pretty confused on why I got no character despite getting a perfect 40 on the Mushroom Cup but now I see why

I swear sometimes when I finish a cup in 1st I either get a character or get nothing. I have 6 or so cups completed with gold trophies but only 4 characters unlocked (Koopa, Waluigi, Shy Guy, Birdo) and 11 locked racers
Am I missing something here or...?

How do I use the image BBcode? I know it’s used for putting in images but it’s always confused me
If you're using Edge or Chrome, right-click the image and select copy image address, then paste it into mkpc.

(PROLOGUE)
One night, a piece of Mushroom Kingdom territory sat in the ocean, quiet and untouched.
Then, something happened.
No one knows for sure what happened, but something happened.
This something had caused certain things on the island to become sentient.
And that something had just changed everything…
Chapter 1: New Sights, New Life
“…”
“…”
“…”
“H-Huh?”
Someone, something, had woken up somewhere.
“…W-where am I?”
Everything was pitch black. There was barely any room to move, almost none at all. The little thing hit every side of the enclosed space, hoping to find an exit.
*bang* *bang* *bang* *bang*
*CREAK*
He was caught off guard by the last sound. There was an opening! It was robably above him.
“Yes! Freedom at last!”
He began bumping against the lid to try and get out.
…One hit wasn’t enough…
…Two hits weren’t enough. A little more effort was needed.
*POP*
Suddenly, the lid of the space burst open, and the little thing came tumbling out onto the ground.
*THUD*
Coming to his senses again, he realized he fell out of a brown, floating box with eyes. He then found out that he was in a grassland. He saw a few hills, a mountain, and, off to the side, a large, straight wall that went across most of the grassland in the distance.
Still, he didn’t know where he was. He had no idea what to feel.
Then, he heard a voice.
“Hey, are you ok?”
Finally! A sign of life! Thank god the little thing wasn’t alone!
The little thing turned around and saw a red-orange flower running to him. The flower looked oddly worried for him, even though he WAS fine.
“I saw you hit your head on the ground. Are you fine?”
“Yeah…” the little thing said. “Who are you, anyways?”
“Me?” the flower said. “I’m… erm… Fire Flower. You look like a Mushroom.”
So the little thing was a mushroom. Weird.
“I haven’t met anyone else here besides me, so I’m a bit lonely,” Fire Flower continued. “Yet, I know my own name…”
“HOW.” The little mushroom replied. “How do you know your very own name if you have no knowledge about it?”
“Well… let’s see… hmm…” Fire Flower got a bit confused. “I don’t really know. It’s complicated. A few minutes after I came out of that…”
“Block? Let’s call those floating boxes blocks.”
“Alright. A few minutes after I came out of my block, I felt this strong feeling inside of me. And then, I suddenly knew my identity, just like that. You’ll probably feel it too, hopefully.”
As Fire Flower finished, the little mushroom began having that strong feeling inside him too! “I’m feeling it too!” he said.
And, as simple as one-two-three, he suddenly knew his identity.
“I think I know my name,” the mushroom said. “I am…
Super Mushroom.”
“Super Mushroom, eh?” Fire Flower said. “Woah! What a cool name! We just have to figure out what your abilities are.”
“And what are your abilities?” asked Super Mushroom.
Fire Flower took a deep breath. “Well, I’ve only discovered one of them, and it’s this.”
Fire Flower’s head seemed to bounce. Out of his petals came a blazing fireball. It hit the ground, bounced a few times, then vanished. The grass was left untouched by the flames.
Super Mushroom was quite impressed. “Wow! No wonder you’re called Fire Flower! You live up to your name!”
Fire Flower blushed and smiled, a bit nervously and a bit out of embarrassment. Now he wanted to learn Super Mushroom’s abilities. “Now what are yours?”
“I don’t know my abilities,” Super Mushroom said. “But I know they’ll come to me sooner or later.”
“The real thing is, we’re friends now.”
Fire Flower unexpectedly began jumping with joy. He finally has a friend! “Thank you! Thank you thank you thank you!” he squealed. “We’re gonna have so much fun here! By the by, where are we anyways?”
The two fell silent. Neither of them knew this place.

Super Mushroom spoke up. “Let’s just explore wherever we are.”

As the two explored the area, walking side by side, Super Mushroom said, “This land is so fascinating. There’s that mountain over there, there’s a variety of floating blocks, and overall, this just seems like a pretty peaceful place. Say, what’s behind that big wall in the distance?”
“I’m curious about the wall, too,” Fire Flower responded. “Hopefully we’ll find an answer, or even better, destroy it.”
Super Mushroom stopped. “What’s that green tube over there?”
It was a Warp Pipe. The first they’ve ever seen.
Fire Flower became giddy. “Hey, why not go in it?” he said excitedly. “There might be something cool on the other end!”
“I don’t think so,” Super Mushroom replied. “The ‘cool’ thing may be something dangerous, maybe even fatal.”
“Who cares?” said Fire Flower. “This is gonna be an adventure!” As he said it, he ran to the Warp Pipe and happily jumped in. The pipe made an unusual noise (Basically the typical sound effect for entering one). Super Mushroom walked up to it and observed it, skeptical.
Fire Flower suddenly popped out of it. “Come on, Super Mushroom!”
Super Mushroom hesitated, took a deep breath, and jumped in with him.
As you probably know, they don’t know where they are. But here’s a secret I’ll tell you that they’ll eventually find out.
They definitely are NOT in the Mushroom Kingdom…

Ok I have more takes:
- Peachette wasn’t a bad pick, just… unusual
- Wii Rainbow Road is kinda mid ngl
- DK Mountain was the best Wave 6 track
- 3DS Rainbow Road easily has some of the worst visuals in the DLC
- Waluigi Stadium is hella goated, easily the best DLC track
- Did we really need Pipeline?
- Peachette wasn’t a bad pick, just… unusual

3DS Rosalina's Ice World was some banger music although replaced Piranha Plant Pipeline (I like that one too)
It didn't replace Pipeline. It replaced Mushroom Bridge, and Daisy Circuit replaced Pipeline. When you think about it that outcome makes a lot more sense
That kinda falls apart when you realize that Daisy Circuit’s internal number was revealed to be 66, and RIW is 67
