Basically the thing people mostly care about for the Switch 2 reveal is the MK9 footage, and it's wearing out. We need more info about the game. Like more tracks or better character designs. The direct being in April is too far.
Thought it was February, if it is, than it's in two days! Let's just see.
All they said was that there's a Switch 2 experience that comes in a few weeks, and then the Nintendo Direct. They aren't really fair after Switch 1 was in 2017, and Mario Kart 8 in 2014.
