I've been playing this game for 2 months now and I'm kinda curious about why the weekdays seem to easily find people, but in contrast, I couldn't get into a single match on the weekends. I'm currently attending college 4 days a week from Mondays to Thrusdays, and I don't get out until 11AM and I usually have an hour or two for errands to do afterwards and several more in studying and working on assignments, so I don't have much time to play online before I have to dedicate several hours into completing my assingments.
But during weekends, I usually have the opposite problem, I have too much free time and whenever I'm in a MKPC mood, I try to go to Online Mode, but never once did I find a room that I can hop in, even as I wait for what feels like over 30+ minutes just to find an available lobby, before giving up and just playing other peoples' courses offline.
I just want to ask if Online Mode is unavailable during weekends, or does it just really take that long to find available rooms during weekends and I'm just not patient enough to wait that long?

Please read all the way to the bottom because this is important to me. This Saturday me and my friend RR98 are gonna play mario kart wii online in a friend room if you want to join please do but you must meet these requirements:
1. It is retro rewind so you need to have that mod at the latest version for it to work
2. We are playing early in the morning around 6am to 8am is when we start so you need to be up early (me and RR98 have uk and Ireland times which are the same so check what time in your country is equal to 6-8am) also we don't know how long we are playing.
3. Post a reply on this topic telling us if you are going to join so we know how many people are gonna be there.
4. Not exactly a requirement but if you don't have my friend code then you need if to join the room cuz I'm hosting. My friend code is on the topic called 'retro rewind friend codes' and 'give me your friend codes' so check on there to find it because you need it to join the room.
This is my first friend room so I want it to be good. Remember it is on RETRO REWIND if you don't have it then I recommend you download it cuz it's good and free. If anything goes wrong I will post a reply on the forum but if it is something about yourselves just send a message to me or RR98. Hoping to see a lot of you.

Daisy is THE best character in the game (if you want you can use a custom Toadette with Daisy's stats), and there's a technique called Reverse Drifting which allows you to chain mini-turbos fast enough to be... well fast xd

When I do online mode or time trials in the main MKPC, when I take a giant shortcut like the one on lakeside park, lakitu comes and says I'm going backwards, but I'M NOT GOING BACKWARDS! The worst part is, when he says I'm going backwards then I finish a lap, he doesn't count it. That's my problem with MKPC. Tell us what your problems are about MKPC.
