Yeah honestly I'm lowering my rating to a 3/5 it's such a nothing burger even if it's nice

Just removed my vote because this is genuinely pissing me off, feeling like I need to explain myself constantly over a 3/5 rating just because I used to have beef with the creator (which was completely unrelated to track making in the first place) is stupid

I understand how it probably came off when the others sort of followed up with 1-3 star ratings though and as I've said before I literally didn't anticipate that

Honestly if I wanted to spite Nudgy I would've rated this a 1/5 without an explanation nor even playing the track

Yeah to be fair I'm terrible at explaining things, and I somehow get stressed when people don't understand what I'm saying LOL

Plain answer: NO, it's not just the name, even if that was misleading

Damn it's not like I've posted several messages explaining why I think this is a 3/5, the name is literally just one of several reasons, and honestly a pretty small one at that

I just thought maybe I needed to explain one of my gripes in more detail because me and Nudgy haven't exactly been on the best terms in the past and it might have seemed like I just gave a less than perfect rating to spite him or something petty like that

Anyway I think some of the reason I'm not too keen on this track is because it feels like you sort of HAVE to play HK to understand it? I guess the same could apply for 3/4 of the other top TBC tracks too but this one just felt like the biggest example of that. The name "Fungal Wastes" is sort of misleading to me (someone who hasn't played HK), I expected an arid, derelict landscape but it's an overgrown swamp with glowing turquoise acid, which kinda threw me off (also the fact that I don't like such harsh shades of turquoise personally doesn't help). In terms of layout the track isn't egregious I guess, I just feel like I've grown averse to 90 degree turns after it ruined so many of my old tracks. This'll remain at 3/5 in my opinion, but I can definitely see the appeal to you guys (for the mushroom theming this was really good though, even though the track itself isn't my cup of tea lol)

Theming is going up to a 4/5 but it's still rated 3/5 overall

I didn't take that into account because I'm not rating this as a TBC track, I'm rating it as I would a regular track

The mushroom theming is good but I feel it takes away from the wasteland theming

Anyway I apologise for the other bad ratings this track got, I genuinely didn't anticipate that

God how dare I rate a track 3/5 that I don't like smh

It's mostly fine but the indoor section in the bottom-left corner of the track is genuinely awful

Graphics - 2/5
The textures are alright but the colouration is garish

Replayability - 4/5
It's quite fun to replay honestly, even though I think it's flawed

Theming - 2/5
Dunno what else to rate this since I'm not a HK player, but this looks more like a forest than a wasteland, maybe it's supposed to be a swamp or smth so it's not abhorrent ig
