Awesome idea, even more fitting than an impossible Ahmad RD TT challenge

To get the underwater feel, try a low opacity dark blue overlay on the underwater section. I've done this before, and if you need help I can explain it properly on Discord.

I'm not defending this challenge because I beat it, I'm defending it because it's well made and fair. For example, the jump in S3 is the hardest part but the checkpoint is right before it to limit frustration. Additionally, the track itself is over an entire kart width so if you are off by a few degrees you have plenty of time to adjust. As a GD player, I've learnt to appreciate things for what they are, and as a challenge the gameplay is good.

What people don't realise is that even though the skill jump in the game is massive, the entire advent calendar contains challenges that can be beaten by anybody.

I also think the track gets easier as it goes on so it's not as frustrating.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but I don't think it's fair to call a troll level bad because you've been trolled (so ig it's good by that logic lol). We're also lucky that we didn't get a really long one of these.

You guys are hating on the track but don't recognise what it's supposed to be lol. Yes it's a troll, but it's a well executed and relatively fair troll. I'd give a 4/5 for gameplay.

If that's the way you look at it, it allows newer players to also have the same chance as pros, so it seems appropriate.

Im gonna give my opinion on this challenge for the calendar.
This is actually good for Day 23, and is what separates those who are dedicated and not. For what it is supposed to be, it's actually well executed and quite fair since there are checkpoints and some room for error. (ie this track is actually good, frustrating maybe but that doesn't mean it's unfun)

As for the calendar, most of it is well made considering that the challenges are possible for almost any skillset. Aside from a few questionable picks (which was bound to happen anyway), they've been relatively interesting.

So my opinion is that unless you're complaining about Day 12 (Andy is laughing rn) there is no need to need to think the challenges are bad. Also skill issue?

I can kinda see what you mean, but imo in terms of a construction themed track this absolutely nails it (no pun intended)

Just because it takes a theme that's different doesn't mean it's not good.
