As shown with the Sonic movie, the first one needs to introduce the main cast & setting. Same for the upcoming FNAF movie: The Nightmares & Funtimes won't be present. The first movie is like a up -to-speed for people who never followed the series. Things start to pick up with the second one. So no, I'm glad they didn't show up in the first movie for the reason previously stated.

As for Wonder, no thanks. Too many characters. Just make a new Wario Land and stick them in it. They don't really belong in the game.
