In not mkpc, the halfpipes curve upwards. To achieve the same effect in mkpc, create mobile floors that push inwards :D
also just add some more checkpoints along the turns; you can make them optional if you want
- it's just to eliminate placement shenanigans

then I cleaned up the rest of the stuff by disabling those overrides too
