Having 2 screens is a good feature, the biggest problem is that Nintendo never used it enough on the Wii U, homebrew, as I’ve said before is not really a valid argument (at least in my opinion) as it requires you to modify the system in ways that are not intended.

Wii U. What do you think I watch YouTube on? It's a homebrew beast, has hall-effect joysticks, a built-in camera, a built-in Wii sensor bar (try pointing your Wii Remote at the Gamepad next time), and has a hardy design. ''Dat funness'' is just there. The menu could have different colors (okay at least the Switch has dark mode, I hate looking at a white screen at 3:00 AM) but is better than your games in a row you can't change, and a few icons at the bottom and top. Where's the fun Nintendo flair? Yet they want homebrew dead just because it voids the warranty. It makes a dead console live again, adds stuff Nintendo doesn't even try! Like how would you like to play PS4 games on your Switch? You can with Chitaki. But the Switch is dull without homebrew, the Wii U's great and even better with homebrew. And it's basically a televised 3DS. The only reason the Wii U didn't sell well is because of Nintendo's ''NEW CONTROLLER'' business. It looked like a 3DS you can't take anywhere and was such a bad representation of the console.
I’ve seen this point made a lot, and there is really no way I can fight against it. I personally don’t think that l homebrew is a really valid argument, if an argument is relating to something that the console was not initially meant to do, then it is not the console, but the community that is performing well. (This is not meant to criticize homebrewers or anything) As for the Wii U failing, it wasn’t just because of the marketing. While it did play a major part in the flop, it wasn’t the full reason. The Wii U launched with games that only appealed to hardcore fans. (New Mario U was seen as nothing more than the same game as New Mario Wii in the eyes of casual gamers. And Nintendo land was practically made of Nintendo references.)
Good job though, homebrew does kinda crush the switch, regardless of it requiring editing the system.
