For some reason my controls act funky, and I am able to drift to the right but not to the left. Does anyone else have the same problem?

No. You should be able to if you can turn left normally.

Cheap keyboard that probably can't handle you pressing multiple of certain buttons I'd imagine, I have to use a separate keyboard myself since drifting forward and left will stop the item button from working. Fiddle around with other keys and see what'll register
