This topic is essentially just asking to revive the game it just randomly went radio silent with like pretty much nothing going on for 2 days
The most eventful thing that's happened was a 1v1 with @JeffreyEpstein in an online match that lasted 3 minutes

Does this explain why I feel like MKPC won't be alive in 2027? I'm the same as you, except for having absolutely nothing eventful happening to me at all. It doesn't mean that MKPC won't be alive in 2027, but the most recent big online race I had was with you and CookieBiscuit, and I can only think of two accounts off the top of my head that were created in 2026 and exceed 20,000 VR out of 358 accounts that do as of now, with what I'm pretty sure is more than half of accounts exceeding 20,000 VR probably dead and having no forum activity. One of them is Travis_XD15 which is a new account of someone who deleted their old account created in 2025, while the other is me. The last online race I even played was yesterday morning with you, and I haven't even seen a SINGLE person matchmaking or racing today yet. I've always wanted to see a small YouTuber post about this game and get more people to play it, just so that we can make MKPC a lot more popular, with some updates made after it so that the site feels like it was made for being popular like this. (example: increasing online race capacity)
Edit at 10:36pm est: I had an 8 player online race right after dinner earlier this night, totally unexpected

The game will definitely survive, it's just nobody is like actually saying it doing anything

Me and Jade are organising a new CTGP that already has 7 out of the 16 tracks necessary to release the multicup, created by many different creators - we hope to release it soon and for y'all to have fun with a high quality CTGP currently in the works

It wasn’t dead for the past few days, it’s just the fact that all new people are just exploring the site and not playing the play game section yet. Plus there have been track creation, posts of topics and comments on topics and tracks, that’s all.

I was here since 2022, this was my old account. It appears my first message was "What are we doing?"
Btw you might recognize me as SNESToad, Toad2012, or my latest one, ToadFromWiiCube. Hi

My last connection over there was on August 16, which is on @FantomeThief's birthday

That's why I think that Time Trials and Challenge Points actually tell if a player is skilled or not. You pretty much can't grind VS and Battle Points when nobody plays it.

Yea, I feel like in the afternoon in Italy, the forum just stops (Yea I know many people here are American and America has a very different timezone than Italy)
It really gets boring if there is nothing going on

I mean given the lack of activity when I'm online, I figured it's a good idea I validate more challenges
Only got about 83 more to go

The only reason why mkpc was active in 2020-2023 it was due to the pandemic. If you remember me saying how this is most active forum that's non-touhou (Man how does touhou have a such active forum) we only behind elite forums. So why is this game "dying" I some theories about it.
1. Nintendo shadow banned the site. It's very low but it could be a option.
2. People stop liking mk when mkw got revealed. There just some people who stop liking the mk when mkw revealed it's 80 dollads.
3. People just only use social media. Think about it what do you do for the rest of the day, This highest option.
I like option 3 because I've more people still into fnf when never got major update for years that means we doing something wrong like as larping big jeff for some reason. (Does he know that gains nothing from this) Like when I see her face I'm a believer we need adversities this website better like making a fan run mkpc on social media, Who's with me. (Somebody I hope)

There was a big online event this evening, and I took 7 minutes in it, so that's something

I feel like inactivity periods are just bound to happen and are fairly natural. I don't really know if it's actually necessary to try and revive the forums or game during that period, I feel that as long as it's not too stretched out, activity should be something spontaneous and natural, not people forcing themselves to interact or play something they don't feel like doing.
