My dad had bought the GBA version and I have quite a few memories of playing it on the Gameboy (and later my DS) but the easiest to speedrun is the 3DS version, Yoshi's New Island. I like SNES for its challenges, and 3DS/Wii U for its speed.

It looks like one of Yoshi's costumes is a dark blue Yoshi wearing sunglasses and a spiked collar. Sounds like Boshi's quit foot racing and stepped up to the big leagues.
