AI is genuinely the most OVERRATED thing on the planet. It is so bad that it is overrated. It is a net negative to society. I know that a lot of people on the MKPC forum talk about how bad AI is, but it is for a good reason. I hope that there is not one day we won't know what's real and what's not because AI is developed too far. TikTok is also pretty overrated because a bunch of teens there doomscrolling FYP, and a lot of brainrot comes from it.
You're just describing GENERATIVE AI, not AI as a whole. Yes, gen is really bad but everybody hops aboard the hate train and zooms straight past the thought of even considering the other aspects of AI
