I got you on this one. After the last turn you can drift of the first ramp and as far off the track as possible, it will respawn you on the finish line.

Small note, it's faster to get the trick ramp for MT than go around and do an SMT for pond cut 2, and in TTs just use a mushroom.

You can mushroom across the lake to gain tons of time. I went from a 1: 12 time to 1: 01 time on TTs with this shortcut.

Not much other than a small cut before the ramp at the end, by MTing into the water and then hopping almost immediately (waiting a few frames is important)
