School's logic is that despite the fact that like over half of all students are depressed/suicidal we're smart enough to cope with it - which is bullshit since we still have to go to work afterwards and the fuck are we gonna do then, continuously drink away our problems, cut our arms to shreds and cry ourselves to sleep most nights? No thanks I already do that and I still feel shit for the future etc, maybe the school system should try to learn Beck's Cognitive Triad theory... or actually give a shit about the students' mental health for once
