My profile pic isn't working (I need help)

I made a profile picture that was a gif and I pressed edit on the thumbnail and I put the gif in there, but it didn't work. I even pressed delete, then put it in there but it STILL didn't work. Here's what it looks like:  Help me please. I might even need a coder or an update to make data packed (a lot of storage A.K.A. MB) profile picture to be able to be used. No error appeared for some reason. It just.... wasn't there.

Okay so GIFs does work, it's just that they won't play unless you click on the profile picture then it will work

It's not that it's not playing, it's that when I press edit and put the file in there, it doesn't appear (not the animation).

Now I have a subsitute one now. I still wanna use the old gif I made before though.

Where did you make the gif profile pic in, if to be honest it kinda matters where you make the gif at.

I made it from pixilart, but I didn't. I used a screen recording on my chromebook, then I converted it to a gif. It's really confusing how I made it honestly. I don't  think that really matters though.
