I cant select a element like lava off-road when doing custom circuits (help)

I need help with the off-road on my circuit, it wont let me select something like a lava off-road that can kill me.

There isn't any lava offroad, "lava" is just a hole. To make it look like lava, make the color orangee when you're creating the track, then put a hole over it.

Offroad is driveable terrain that slows you down, not something that makes you respawn.
