help me in retroarch!

So im using Genesis Plus GX and im trying to do Sonic & Knuckles Lock-On with Sonic 3 i have both bios files (Sonic & Knuckles ROM > sk.bin Sonic & Knuckles UPMEM ROM > sk2chip.bin) and Sonic 3 in a .7z file but when i try lock on it just doesnt work and just brings up vanilla Sonic 3 anybody know whats going on?
