Help with making a Tour race

So I’m trying to make the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Paris Promenade, and I think I should be using the “per-lap override” to get the racers to go a certain way. If I shouldn’t, please tell me what I should be using, and if I’m doing it right, please tell me how to work this.
