"Invalid read from 0x"

I was trying to install the Unrestricted Vehicle mod for Mario Kart Wii. It was a Riivolution patch, so I put it into the Load/Riivolution folder. I put the "riivolution", "codes", and "mods" ones there. But when I enable "the main feature" and "Ocarina .gct file," it gives me this error screen:



This mostly happens with Riivolution patches. I tried changing settings and sorting the files, but nothing worked. I exactly did what the readme text said:

Works very similar to the SD Card method. After extracting the .zip file in Dolphin's "Riivolution folder structure", right-click your Mario Kart Wii game (can be an .iso, .wbfs or an extracted filesystem) and select "Start with Riivolution Patches...", and enable "The main feature" and "Load Ocarina .gct file". If those don't seem to show up, then click on "Open Riivolution XML..." to find the correct XML for the correct region manually.
