N2DSXL BROKEN VOLEUME SLIDER FIX

So me and my dad were replacing the control stick on a new 2ds XL and when we put the shell together the voleume switch broke...KINDA a lil bit of plastic flew off and the green/colored bit just dosnt connect. What is the safest way to fix this

Nah, I think they said that they aren't repairing 3ds and 2ds I think...

How did you changed the stick pleaaase ? I need to change my stick too

WHEN OPENING BE CARFUL OF THE 3 RIBBON CABLES

WHAT HAPPENED

Er... The DS... well... DS = RIP. (I let my friend play MKDS one day when I was 6 and he said it turned off and wouldn't come back on. Then 3 years later, I tried to fix it myself.)
Edit: The only thing wrong was that the plug for the screen wasn't all the way in. AND TAKING IT APART MADE IT WORSE.
