Mario Kart World power up ideas

Post ideas of new/pre-existing powerups that would make sense to add in Mario Kart World (MKW).

Here are some of mine:

Super Leaf (From Mariokart 7) - A defensive powerup that can also attack nearby racers seems like a no-brainer addition due to the new edition of 24 racers.

Lightning Cloud (From Mariokart Wii) - Ever since MKW added 24 racers, having a hot-potato type powerup seems like a good idea

DK Barrel (Custom Idea) - A straight-shooting powerup similar to a green shell, but upon it hitting anything it explodes into 4 bananas.

Cappy - you can use it to take control of the inputs of another player for a short time
