When I was 7, my family drove to Florida. I wanted to see where we were going, so my mom handed me her phone with google maps open on it. (At this time, I had not yet gotten my own phone) I found the interstate we were traveling on and then I said, "why are we going this way? There are TROLLS this way" Yes. I thought that tolls on the map said trolls. Idk why. I was 7.
Im not really dyslexic, but here's another thing that happened to me.
Last year, my family was going to an arcade bc why not and there was not many people in the parking lot, so I for some reason was appointed by everyone in the vehicle to go see if anything on the door said if it was closed. I walked up to the door and saw a sign that read, "Closed for private event until 8:00 pm" I however thought it said closed for PIRATE event, so I was a bit confused, but decided to go back to the car and tell them what I saw. A few seconds later, I walked up to my family's car and said "they are closed for a pirate event."
