If you think about it, Nintendo has not made something unique since 2006, the Wii's release. Then the 3DS, which is a new console, but an "upgrade" from the DS, the Wii U, which was a failure. Even though we did get the Switch 1, look at the fucking games. You just ported half of the Wii U games onto a console. Then... A SWITCH 2??? I don't think anyone 50 years from now will ever mistake a Wii U for a Switch, they're clearly two completely different consoles (in fact, one of them is literally a handheld). Sure there are a lot of Wii U games that were ported to the Switch with "Deluxe" versions but that's only because of how poorly the Wii U performed marketing wise forcing Nintendo to release the Switch early + if you're still stuck on software rather than hardware then I'll point out MKWorld is drastically different than MK8DX

Look at Sony, all they make is $1000 Playstations and rerelease them with "Better hardware", and use it as an excuse to make it 500 more dollars. they are pretty scummy, too.
