Just an announcement that I'm officially changing the names of the elements Electric and Frost to Thunder and Snow respectively to make the card game more faithful to the roles of Shinto deities (which is what inspired the elements in the first place)

Before you ask about the title, it's just the Japanese name of the card game lol (Super Princess Cards)
You can choose to join, then I'll make 5 (cause 5 is the number of luck in China) cards for you, you can choose between these elements (weaknesses and strengths to be confirmed):
Wind (equivalent of Normal-type in Pokémon)
Nature (equivalent of Grass-type)
Fire (pretty self-explanatory for the equivalent)
Water (yeah this is also pretty self-explanatory)

Goofy Ghost House, a game where you're haunted the ghost of your dead roommate who scares you in the silliest of ways, like throwing a bunch of apples down the stairs, replacing your hand soap with hot cocoa powder, drawing a mustache on your face when you sleep, jumping out of the back seat of your car and pulling silly faces at you, or shooting confetti at you out of nowhere. You beat the game by telling the ghost off and grounding her for a week for being so immature.

In relation to MK9, I’ve decided on this:
The current tracks I have for V3 will be more of a preview of my new style, since due to the nature of the multicup, every track will take a while to make. As for what I will do moving forwards, I’m thinking of returning to 2, and finishing that one off with my old paint.net style, as a side project. Also all DLC is cancelled. Wanna know what people think of this

Also, I'm very surprised you didn't mention elh.spz from the original Luigi's Mansion. It's quite disturbing for a Mario game tbh.
EDIT: 'Hell Valley' is a reference to an actual mountainous forest location in Japan. As far as the 'Sky Trees' part goes, there are youkai in Japanese folklore that hang around trees, including the Kodama (benevolent tree spirit), Jubokko (vampire tree) and Ninmenju (laughing heads tree). However, one that really stood out to me was the Kinoko, the shadow leaf child. The pieces all fit, they are shadowy entities, they live on a mountainside and appear rather childlike. In my opinion, the 'Hell Valley Sky Trees' are likely Kinoko.
EDIT DOS: Here's a quote that proves what I'm saying about the Kinoko: 'They appear as children from two to four years of age and wear clothes that are made of leaves or are blue. It's said that when a human sees one, they look like a shadow, making it hard to tell if one is actually there or not.' It's a fact that when Mario looks at them, they appear shadow-like, and then they are basically obstructed from view due to the level's skybox.

Soon, I'm going to be hosting a Mario-themed competition on Discord, and one of the challenges was going to be called "Quest in the Deep." It would've had teams go on Google and search for official images of weird or disturbing things that were either created or licensed by Nintendo themselves. But then I reread the list and was like, "Most of these can be found on the front page." So I scrapped it for being too easy. But I still wanna share the crazy things I found, so I'll be making a list going from those that are more innocent and well-known to those that are... well... neither, starting with...
14. Barefoot Yoshi
Yeah, this is one of the reasons I didn't make it a Google scavenger hunt. If you look up "barefoot Yoshi" nowadays, odds are you'll be met with some fetishy stuff, but what if I told you there's an activity book from 199-something that actually reveal's Yoshi's adorable paw?
Now, with his design changing throughout the years, I highly doubt this is accurate, but it's nice to see Nintendo having the balls to do that.

In a few games from the 90's, there are quite a few examples of characters getting completely wasted. The most appropriate example for this site is Bowser chugging down a bottle of champagne if he wins in Super Mario Kart. In one of the Wario Land games, there are also penguin enemies that'll throw beer mugs at Wario, turning him into, this is the official name, "Drunk Wario." Unsurprisingly, these were both Japan-only.
12. A Shy Guy without its mask
Now I'm kinda cheating with this one, but it's still fascinating. Shy Guys' main thing is that they always wear masks because they're shy guys. But there are a couple of times where the masks came off, and they didn't even have to lose a singing contest. The first one is from Mario Power Tennis. If Shy Guy wins, during the cutscene where he's collecting his trophy, he'll trip and lose his mask. When he gets up, his back is turned to the viewer, but Luigi is mortified at what he sees.
Okay, that image doesn't show fear, but it's the best I could find.
There's also a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene in the Mario Movie. While the camera is speedrunning through the rave scene, you'll see a Shy Guy take off its mask to a few other soldiers, who react in the same terror Luigi did back in Mario Power Tennis. Like that game, his back is turned to us. I kinda like how we never see what's behind the mask. It helps to maintain that sense of mystery that's always been a huge part of the character.
11. Donkey Kong holding a shotgun
In Donkey Kong 64, one of the weapons DK can use is his Coconut Gun, which is made to look like some barrels slapped together. But during development, it originally looked like a realistic gun. Once Miyamoto saw it, he immediately drew up the design we know now.

To be critically honest, drunken video game characters in Japanese media aren't necessarily uncommon. In the Touhou Project, every character gets drunk at least once, and the main antagonist of the Touhou fighting game Suimusou: Gathering Reverie - Immaterial and Missing Power, Suika, is shown to have abilities that involve turning any normal beverage into sake (rice wine) and is always shown insanely hung over (most Touhou games are PEGI rated 7-16 [do NOT make me talk about the manga])

Sorry, I'm calling CAP on number 2. The only Sonic games worth buying in the last decade was Frontiers & Mania.
Well then only two Mario games I play on a frequent basis are Super Mario Maker 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, plus I apologize for such a hot take but I just don't like mainline Mario any more. Modern mainline Sonic is flawed too, but it's certainly better than what mainline Mario's becoming in recent years. I don't know, maybe Wonder will change my mind but I guess I'll just have to wait and see whether I like Wonder or Superstars better.
