In MKPC it is so much easier to report people...

Nice 7yo memories.

I think my MK is nearly 9, in Nov...

When I turned 6, I was given MKWii. I remember how bad I was, my best was 1:30 on Luigi Circuit. I also remember I thought the offroader was the best vehicle bc it looked cool which is why I would always use it (even on Luigi Circuit) bc I was a dummy and didn't understand racing.
I also remember raging on DK Snowboard Cross (or DK Summit for those who have that name) on the double hairpin.
I also thought WGM was extremely hard, and would spent 10 mins on that track. My cousin then told me about Rainbow Road, and I thought that would take even longer.

This is so old... Im gonna lock topic just so we dont bring up useless stuff. I may host another soon, when i get better at it.

Sorry it took so long for the results. I know it was only 4 tracks but I have been really busy lately. But better late than never I guess...

Overall I liked all of the courses and thought they were really good. Good job to everyone who participated.

Anyway here are the results: (keep in mind that everyone has different opinions on what courses need for it to be good and I am inexperienced at judging courses. If I say something you don't agree with or don't like then I am sorry)


The Front 9 - By 57Jake

I loved the idea of a Golf themed track. It actually made me feel like playing again. The course was very good, but the only problems I had were:
- It was a tad unclear. It was difficult navigating the course. Maybe some arrows could have been helpful.
- The fairways were very easy. Although there were some water hazards and sand bunkers they didn't really do much. (except on one hole) Some bunkers to increase the difficulty on the fairways would have been nice, but tbh it's probably just me being nitpicky.
- I know this isn't the PGA Tour, but a crowd may have been nice.

Overall the course was very good and I really liked it, but there is still some room for improvement. I'd say a 8/10.

Star Road - By Blu

This course was another pretty cool course. the deco on the track was really nice I enjoyed it but I wasn't sure about some things:
- There is so much fire obstacles on one section of the track.
- Some of the respawn points weren't very good.
- It lacked other deco. Only fire and piranha plants were used. Some pipes or rainbow thwomps may have been nice.

Overall this track was very good. Some minor flaws but still a great course. I'd say a 7.5/10.

CaS - Vallons du Far West - By ByoT

This track was ok. The deco was amazing, but the biggest issue I had was the generic layout and how narrow the track was. The racing on this track wouldn't be great at all, and no matter how aesthetically pleasing the track is there is nothing that can be done about how the track plays.

This track would have been amazing with a better layout, but the deco was absolutely stunning. Because of this, I'd give a 7/10.

Jellyfish Fields - By LuigiDawg

This track is a nice track, and I liked the Spongebob theme. (memories) There was still some minor issues:
- The course really lacked deco. (the MKPC deco, otherwise the course did look good) There were 4 cheep cheeps and that's it.
- The layout of the course was ok. There wasn't anything special with it and was a little short. However, it still plays well.

Overall this course was very good. It was probably the one that felt most like a proper course. I'd give it an 7.5/10.



This was barely a contest, it only got 4 submissions, so I don't think I'll be doing any of these in the near future. However, I'd still like to thank those who actually did participate. ^^

Anyway, if you still wanna do stuff like this then you should go check out LeoDS's tournament. He is doing it more frequently and more organised than I do, and I recommend checking it out.
