Hey guys, i'm pretty sure everyone's got that DLC, but i don't have it and i have no money (the Nintendo Switch is my 20 and a half years old brother's console but he lets me play it almost everytime). I have no Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack so can someone give me a download code not used? (i'm not encouraging piracy btw

It doesn't make sense for DLC-less players to have the old menu. (Check Smash Ultimate where you can see the DLC spirit boards, or Splatoon 3 where you can see the train station to the Splatoon 1 & 2 hubs)
The whole idea is really to make you feel like you're missing out, which you technically are? So I guess it's working.

Tbf it's not like a F2P game's FOMO where the skins & stuff really aren't worth it. I can't think of a first party Nintendo game where the DLC isn't worth it. Xenoblade is good, Engage, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Smash, Star Allies(that game really needed it), BotW was...fine, I guess.
Can't rate the dlc because I focus too much on other types of gaming, but it is quite a smart marketing technique and we can clearly see it working here.
I suppose fomo is more like Mario 3D all stars, with limited time to purchase it.

There isn't any lava offroad, "lava" is just a hole. To make it look like lava, make the color orangee when you're creating the track, then put a hole over it.
Offroad is driveable terrain that slows you down, not something that makes you respawn.

He can't buy the WiiU DLC anymore, the servers are down, the only thing you can do would be redownloading any games you previously had. He's kind of cooked as a WiiU player.
Pretendo just won't work for eShop. I try to download, then it just gives me an errror.
I thought it only worked for game's online servers, not the Eshop.

I realize that Superstars is not the best argument for this because it kinda sucked compared to Mania but the idea is still the same; people love talking about old games. Especially when we can only speculate about the next game for the next two months.

I loved the Wii, but I have to say, they should have used new hardware (I couldn't even play double dash with my friend that was pointless to bring my Wii)The Wii was new harder tho. There isn't much rubber-banding in Mario Kart Double Dash & onwards because the harder was way better. It's only the first 3 that had that problem.

They can reboot it the same way Mario Kart is being rebooted. Every 64 & Melee character uses
outdated movesets. Some Brawl characters as well. They can always cut the roster back to around 50 or so, drop all the semi-clones and 3rd parties who will never return and add more. There's other stuff besides characters too, like stages and items. Ultimate released in 2018, there have been a ton of 1st party games with new characters since.
There are other ways to improve the game than just having a ton of characters. Less can be more.

Also, it's only called Ultimate in English. In Japan it's just Smash Bros. Special. It's a special game that culminates the whole series up to this point. That's literally it.
