I've had this super convoluted game quintology in my mind from alteast 4 years ago that I plan on making at some point, if it does come out I'd like to see something on that, they do 'em on indie games all the time. Eh, I had a different plan in mind. The Past Mario is the first Mario created in Super Mario Bros. (NES), it stays 2D and acts like your average Mario. Present Mario hails from 3D World/Wonder, and Future Mario is a 4D Mario from the future, attempting to stop Present and Past Mario from acidentally ending the world. There is a Past, Present, and Future Bowser too. Forget the rest of the characters. It takes place in the Present Mushroom Kingdom.
Sounds cool on paper, but, uh, 4D doesn't exist. Atleast, not yet.

That being said, the consoles are named after what they are. Switch can switch between handheld & home console, Wii is 4 player motion tech, Gamecube is a....gaming cube. What the hell is focusing gonna correspond to? And also who's the leaker?

1: Pyoro is the name of the best leaker at the moment. They are 100% accurate so far, for the past year they've been leaking. Even small stuff that no one cares about, they've been correct. They send out riddles instead of saying things directly, leaving things very ambiguous, to set up fake leakers.
2: The names of Nintendo's consoles have meaning. Unless the Focus is VR(& we already know that it's going to be a Switch 2) that name makes no sense.

2) Nowadays if I went into a store I would choose a Sonic game over a Mario one, Mario has gotten stale
3) Waluigi is overrated as fuck
4) Super Paper Mario is the best 2D Mario
5) I know that Bowser's pretty much a mainstay villain, but I'm sick of seeing him around so often after seeing the missed potential of other returning villains
6) Melee and Brawl are better than Ultimate

Sorry, I'm calling CAP on number 2. The only Sonic games worth buying in the last decade was Frontiers & Mania.
Well then only two Mario games I play on a frequent basis are Super Mario Maker 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, plus I apologize for such a hot take but I just don't like mainline Mario any more. Modern mainline Sonic is flawed too, but it's certainly better than what mainline Mario's becoming in recent years. I don't know, maybe Wonder will change my mind but I guess I'll just have to wait and see whether I like Wonder or Superstars better.
