If they ever did do a second Pass(which they won't because there are no Rainbow Roads left to end it satisfactorily), they'd add all the Tour characters and the ones datamined for Tour.
Charging Chuck, Poochy, Funky Kong, Monty Mole, King Bob-omb, Dixie Kong, Parakoopa, Nabbit, Hammer Bro, Luma.
Tour COULD have other characters by then, so maybe also Boom Boom, Spike, Pom Pom & Plessie. Since they can't do ROB, because no legs, that'd be it.

Character specific items are very unbalanced. Just look at Tour for proof.
Although they wouldn't need to come up with the ideas, just take them all straight from Tour, besides Link of course.

Maybe they'd be a way to do whatever you want yourself in your own custom multicups instead? Like programme anything you want yourself in your own tracks? Idk how that would work tho, might accidentally affect other people or some random crap.

I think new items outright would give a similar feel, but it's been 12(guess?) years since this game was made, when you stop and think about the amount of times it's been tossed around since then & nothing has come of it? Don't think so.

Switch Sports, solely because atleast the Miis have always been doing that sort of thig. It would've been cooler to have original characters for Tomodachi Life and Miitopia, y'know? Like the Sportsmates. Now they canreuse them in the future without people hearing their name and not automatically attaching them to a console, like the Miis.

Miitopia was just unnecssarily Miis. They could've made a whole new IP off the idea. Idk they attached it to a dead character.

I'm not a fan of Sim games like Animal Crossing in general, but Tomodachi Life is definitely a bit better than Miitopia. I'd rather we had neither tbh.

Like, the WiiU one is fine, but the 3DS version is awful.

Ah, there isn't any good spots for gliders on these tracks, they'd be useless. In any case, we still have 4 versions of each, the other 3 make up for the "lack of fun" the first one may or may not have. One version gets to be faithful to the original(more or less), the other 3 get to be more intersting. On it's own it sucks, but with the context of "you're gonna have all four at once anyway", it's fine.

I'd make a new ARMS game. No other dead series really deserves it, they all suck.
