Third, even if they banned certain content on youtube for you, they would still be able to access it.

- Anything with the word Pokemon, Meme, Plinko, etc.
So assuming they automatically block sites that are known for being used for gaming? Perhaps certain words, such as Pokemon or meme are automatically blocked? Your "evidence" proves nothing.

I know they block sites, I was saying that it was foolish to assume it was done by watching YouTube videos or that sites known to be gaming related are immediately blocked.

Hey guys, i'm pretty sure everyone's got that DLC, but i don't have it and i have no money (the Nintendo Switch is my 20 and a half years old brother's console but he lets me play it almost everytime). It doesn't make sense for DLC-less players to have the old menu. (Check Smash Ultimate where you can see the DLC spirit boards, or Splatoon 3 where you can see the train station to the Splatoon 1 & 2 hubs)
The whole idea is really to make you feel like you're missing out, which you technically are? So I guess it's working.
Classic Fomo marketing. Only worked on me a few times.
Tbf it's not like a F2P game's FOMO where the skins & stuff really aren't worth it. I can't think of a first party Nintendo game where the DLC isn't worth it. Xenoblade is good, Engage, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Smash, Star Allies(that game really needed it), BotW was...fine, I guess.
Can't rate the dlc because I focus too much on other types of gaming, but it is quite a smart marketing technique and we can clearly see it working here.
I suppose fomo is more like Mario 3D all stars, with limited time to purchase it.
