You know what? As long as Nintendo is working on more footage and hiding it to themselves, it's okay. I just want stuff from the game to exist.
The initial content was clearly just a teaser to drum up excitement, they will release more footage closer to release.

I am a fan of series that are actually in a drought, not series that are going to get games soon. Why do you feel the need to complain? You are actually able to use the features of the games you have, such as multiplayer, without having to go through hoops like I would.

Where is his face, legs, arms, or signature M on his hat, it's nowhere to be found?
It is still a nice display piece and at a distance most of those would be unrecognisable or just look bad. They must have had a reason to design it that way, by using his most prominent features that would actually look good on 3 pieces. I doubt that the representation of Mario in this set is larger than a fingernail.

Probably because it is seen as a children's series so they decided to put less effort into it using older pieces with new prints.
