Cut me some slack, my fault for not reading the FAQ. I didn't know EVERYONE was asking for gliders.(it says so in my message)

PLEASE ADD GLIDERS



They can be like characters, just make it appear behind them when they hit a glider ramp, we can customize them like characters too! (and make it so their like, slightly in the air and descending slowly)

If you really plan on doing that, can you make Wesley (my character) a Boo? no real reason i just always thought of him as a Boo.

Eh, if I had to say, probably a tie between Sonic X and the games

I have more then one, I like a lot of stuff.

I respect your opinion, i genuinely do, but for your Pokemon point, sun and moon weren’t the first games with the same version, that was black and white 2, which were (correct me if i’m wrong) for the same price as their originals. And your MK8 point is fine sure, but I don’t see how it relates to the overall conversation. And also, please don’t try and bring up my age like it discredits my argument. I’m just trying to have a discussion about what people think of modern day nintendo, I can see how you use my age to bring up the games that I myself grew up with around the time, but i already stated that in my original post. If the point your trying to make is that nintendo games were slop from the era I started playing then I can (kinda) see your point.

You may be asking, well I'm referring to the current era of Nintendo, the switch and switch 2 specially. If you need an example of this here's a video:

And honestly, I agree with some of the points made in this video.

I have a switch 2
But it's not because it was the shiny new thing from Nintendo, I got it because my old switch was run down. I had my old Nintendo switch 1 for almost a decade now. (God I'm getting old) and I got the switch two because my old switch ran like a GAMEBOY.

This meme is like perfect for my old switch.



But getting back on track, my experience with the switch two has been pretty alright, of course there's the obvious ones (runs great, and is an overall upgrade) but the games have been, mixed for me.

Let's address the elephants in the room.

Mario Kart World and Legends Z-A. When I was younger I LOVED Mario Kart and Pokemon, I'd play MKWII for hours on my wii u, and I'd always love playing Pokemon on my 3ds. But how do these games compare? They honestly don't, Mario Kart World is fine, but to me, it's style over substance, like the battle mode is so overlooked, and I promise you, I don't think we needed it to be open world. (I only used free roam ONCE). And Legends ZA, it's.. alright, I played it and genuinely enjoy it, but that's not when I'm NOT looking around for 15 minutes just for the next task, and that's the thing. it just got repetitive.

Summary and Final Thoughts

Nintendo's been getting a lot of hate, and RIGHTFULLY SO. But sometimes, I think that it gets to a point where people don't just hate Nintendo or the games, they hate the players and fans for even enjoying the series. So, in conclusion, out of all the switch 2 Games, Sonic Racing Crossworlds (not even a nintendo made game) and LUIGI'S MANSION (A GAME OLDER THAN ME) we're the most fun games I've played on the switch 2, do with that what you will.

I can see your point, as someone who used to play this game a while back, I was surprised when the only new thing they added was rails (to the best of my knowledge)

I'd recommend getting games like smash 4 or even MK8. I modded my Wii U two years back and it has been a BLAST(I still play it to this day). Honestly, hot take but some of the games gave me more enjoyment then Mario Kart World.

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW LONG THIS TOOK

After a whole day of working, I finally made the first character (It's just Mario and the sprite sucks so I might not even use it.) and the first track, it features the crossworlds mechanic to another course I'll be making in the future. I hope you all enjoy.

I promised I'd begin development today, and oh boy will I deliver.

And, I have indeed been listening to your suggestions, I will be making ALL (to the best of my ability, i lowkey suck at pixel art.) of the sprites, characters, tracks, you name it. But please, if you wanna send any character sprites, please, feel free to do so.

Let's get to the point, shall we? I finally thought of the roster, it's nothing much for now, but any suggestions help.

Thanks! I already planned to do complete mode, and I have everything pretty much set up. The sprites I can figure out as well. And retro cups are also going to play a HUGE part. You're suggestions have been noted (btw I mainly use paint and other sites like it to draw my tracks)
