I need help connecting the internet to my Switch, and I need help.
Are you using Ethernet or just trying to connect to a router? If it's 2, then check to see if your network is not WPA3, because the Switch doesn't support it. If it's 1, then check to see if you aren't using a third party Ethernet adapter, because 19.0 patched those out.
Uh, I have no idea what this means but mine’s a wireless connection with WPA2 AES I think.
Good. Check to see if you're using Automatic DNS, since you won't be able to connect to Nintendo servers while using custom DNS servers or BrowseDNS Forums.
Hold on, let’s handle this into DM’s so it doesn’t count as message farming.
I can't DM on 3DS, but you can delete previous messages besides this one.
Well, my parents told me to disable SwitchBru for a week since I was grounded, and a week has already passed, but my DNS is still automatic.
Hm... Does it say it's connected right now or just dies when you try to launch it? Also, check to see if you're running the latest update.
I’m sure I’m doing the latest update, and it doesn’t die, it just shows an error right when the Switch tries to connect between it and the WiFi before it can get to the Internet.
Either something's wrong with your router or your Switch doesn't support it. Try another network, like your own or one of your siblings' hotspots or your friend's network if you live close.

If everything else works (besides your neighbor's network, forget that if it's password locked), then it's just specifically your network. I guess call Nintendo support...
I think my dad just paused our Xfinity WiFi again, plus I could use a hotspot. I am on a hotspot-usable IPhone.
That would be better, as you can take both anywhere and just VS your friend online and play a game on a trip or smt.

how are people able the use google on their switch??? 
The Switch Browser.
1. Go on your Switch to the Internet settings.
2. Click on a network that your Switch can connect to.
3. Click Change Settings after you’ve clicked on the network.
4. Go click on DNS settings and enable it to Manual.
5. Change the Primary DNS by clicking on Primary DNS.
6. Once you clicked on the Primary DNS’ button thing type in 45.55.142.122
7. Click Confirm once you put in the DNS.
8. Click Save after you’ve Confirmed the DNS.
9. Once you clicked save, Click on Connect to network.
10. Wait until you see this screen.
11. Click Next and start browsin’!
