Technically speaking, this track is actually from nowhere. It's a shrunk down reconstruct. It's just themed to look like Yoshi's Island. Same for all the tracks, the courses themselves are still in the Mario World.

Literally not, not even the two turns look like the foot, sometimes it can fit but now you're just overanalyzing. Not everything is related to that terrible and dead meme. Amogus is already dead, stop with it.

My opinions about the tracks :
Amsterdam Drift
BIG SURPRISE for me. Very quaint, fun, various and dynamic, like a modern Delfino Square. I thought it'd be pretty underwhelming while it's clearly not. I love every single bit to the BONE. And I wasn't even hyped for that track.
Riverside Park
Really great, basically the MKT versions but the visuals are absolutely godly. Finally Nintendo, you fixed the cliffs. The Ptooies are nice obstacles that can make for a good comeback opportunity in the later games. Now thee track is amazing, especially visually, there's even haze in the further jungle, this track is on par with the base game visuals tbh. And it's pretty fun to play! Maybe kinda short.
DK Summit
Kinda underwhelming compared to other tracks, probably. There
weren't many changes made. The fog being gone is... pretty good tbh. As for the gap jumps, I'm really glad they're still here, and the track is still fun and looks gorgeous. I just think that it I'd more like a safe pick and more like a small port, but it didn't need many changes. This is way above average, it's at least fun and great. Yet this is the low point of this wave.
Yoshi's Island
Tbh this track is literally flawless, but the surprise factor was gone singe we saw too much of it (and people are annoying, they're always speculating so much.) The track is a love yetter to the series, not only changing many details but also being faithful to the original, bringing justice to the original and at the same time the best pick for a more simplistic design. Simplistic? My ass yes. There are so many different environments : plains, jungle, lake, castle, cave, snow, volcano, clouds, and gliding down... everything is vibrant, colorful and adorable. Love the details !
I'll be covering the second cup tomorrow.
