New Blue & Dark Shells' Sprites

The Blue Shell sprites in Mario Kart PC are pretty confusing, so I made the new ones.
It's exactly the same sprite, but I added spikes.
I originally wanted to just recolor the already present sprite, but I realised that it still won't be too good (the spike placement is loose) so I decided to fully remake the sprite. I used the Red Shell roulette sprite, then recolored it (it's exactly the same shade of blue that POW Block's roulette sprite uses) and drew spikes.
I also made new sprites for the Dark Shell. They are the same as Blue Shell's ones but with the original sprites' colors and the roulette sprite is also flipped vertically like the original sprite.
I think that these sprites are better. What do YOU think?

Toad (no longer opens his mouth):
Koopa Troopa (eyes now look straight):
Hammer Bro (completely new sprite):
Toadette (same case as Toad's sprite):

Note that Petey's podium sprite is bigger than the rest of the sprites

Sprites.
All of your sprites are good (especially Hammer Bro.), but I think that only Hammer Brother's one should replace the current sprite. Sorry Hoppingicon, but your Hammer Bro. sprite is atrocious.
I think that if we replace other current sprites with these, the racers will have less charm.
Map icons.
They are very good and deserve to be used, especially Hammer Brother's one.
Podium sprites.
All of them are great! I think they actually should be used.
Super Star theme.
I always liked the Starman theme from SMK more than the one used in MKPC and wanted the SMK version to be used in MKPC instead, so I support you here.
I think that Petey's map icon should also be reworked. I always hated it.

I created new sprites for the Blue and Dark shells because the current ones are pretty confusing.

I think Super Horn could be a very good addition. Boo would be pretty unfair and frustrating, but it could be added as a custom item distribution and challenge only item. Lucky 7 and Crazy 8 seem to be too unfitting.

I would delete the possibility of getting 0 points in the Online Mode.
Why? Its really uncommon to get that many points anyway.

I think that the Dark Shell should be kept in the game even after this April Fools' Day, but this item should be unavailable in standard item distribution, so you won't be Dark Shell'd in Online Mode. Also I think that item-themed setup options in challenge editor should also have the Dark Shell.

I think a language filter for public online games could help with the online chat situation, with it being optional for private games.
