What is the Dark Shell???

When I was reading the patch log, I saw they touched up the Blue Shell and the Dark Shell. Of course I know about the Blue Shell but what is the Dark Shell I have never heard of this thing.
There are other topics you could have looked up, or you could've posted this on SFA.
But anyway, the Dark Shell was an April Fools' update added in (I believe) 2023. It was basically the Blue Shell but instead of targeting 1st, it targeted last. It was permanently removed from the default item selection once April Fools' day ended, but you can still have it in custom item distributions. To get it, you have to go to the custom item distribution maker, hit "Import/Export", then "Import", and then type in "darkshell". It will be added to your custom distribution for use in VS Races or private Online matches.

Did you read? Quick Mode was not the problem. It was a battle arena, not a race track. Anyway, a Quick Mode track couldn't be accepted because it's a Complete Mode multicup
